Mission Statement

Take a Swing at Cancer has a simple mission: to help families affected by Cancer. Our goal is to ease the financial burden placed on families by offering alternative funding to assist with the expenses not covered by traditional insurance.

Description

Take A Swing at Cancer, Inc. (TASC) is a tax-exempt charity (IRS designated 501(c)(3)) that raises money to be used in the war against cancer. We emphasize our fundraising events around sporting activities. Two of our major events are a golf tournament and a softball tournament.

TASC provides grants to families and individuals that allow them to focus more on cancer treatment and less on financial burden. These grants help families pay for adaptive equipment, transportation costs, and living expenses. TASC provides grants to other non-profit agencies that include more personalized family support networks as well.

TASC also donates the funds raised to other charities that provide services in the war on cancer, such as, research, treatment, family support, hospice, education, detection, and prevention.
