It is important to the Westlake Fire Department that our department is viewed as providing more than just emergency response. While we will always maintain emergency readiness, it is our goal that we also provide an array of services that support the well-being of our community.

Description

The Westlake Fire Department is a combination volunteer and paid organization. Both volunteers and paid staff are organized into Engine Companies and participate in an organized coverage schedule, serving as firefighters and EMT First Responders. The Department has over 30 volunteer Firefighters/EMTs and 30 paid/career Firefighters/EMTs. Staff of Westlake FD cover incident response, perform administrative training, and maintenance functions supplementing the core of volunteer personnel who are a reservoir of FF / EMTâ s from the community.
