Description

Rural Awareness and Development Services (RADES) is a humanitarian relief and development agency based in Nairobi Kenya. It has its operations in northern Kenya and Southern somalia.

It is registered as non profit non-governmental organization under the NGO Act.

These areas are inhabited by mainly the agro pastoral community whose livelihood is on livestock. The harsh climatic conditions in these areas make the communities more vulnerable to drought, diseases, banditry, famine and underdevelopment.
