Mission Statement

With almost $20 million in hospitality revenues, tourism is the City of Palm Desert’s main industry. The Palm Desert Visitor Center functions to support our city’s tourism industry. Through our efforts to work closely with local businesses, we promote Palm Desert hotels, retailers, attractions, activities and events that attract visitors to our community.

Description

The Visitor Center is dedicated to providing the highest level of service to visitors and residents alike. We help visitors in person and over the phone, as well as via email. We distribute a variety of literature, including Vacation Guides, Relocation Guides, brochures and periodicals. The retail component of the Visitor Center stocks souvenirs, Palm Desert apparel and hats, books, maps and more. This retail function assists in the promotion of the Palm Desert brand and helps to increase exposure for the City while contributing revenue to the general fund.
