Mission Statement

Frameline's mission is to strengthen the diverse lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and further its visibility by supporting and promoting a broad array of cultural representatons and artistic expression in film, video and other media arts.

Description

With annual attendance of nearly 70,000, the San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival is the longest-running, largest, and most widely recognized LGBTQ film exhibition event in the world. Founded in 1977, the Festival is the most prominent and well-attended LGBTQ arts event in North America. Frameline also presents year-round exhibition events.
