Description

CRY America is CRY, Child Relief and You America Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization registered in the USA that works towards restoring basic rights to underprivileged children, especially Indian.

Our focus is clearly on the 4 basic rights. The Charter of Child Rights as defined by the United Nations in 1989 is built on the premise that all children are born with fundamental freedoms and all human beings have some inherent rights. By signing this Convention, these countries recognize children as a distinct group of individuals whose concerns need to be addressed separately under law and policy. The Charter confers the following basic rights on all children across the world, without discrimination:

* the right to survival to life, health, nutrition, name and nationality
* the right to development to education, care, leisure, recreation
* the right to protection from exploitation, abuse, neglect
* the right to participation to expression, information, thought and religion.
