Mission Statement

Jewish Child Care Association/Pleasantville Cottage School's congregate care programs provide a supervised, safe environment where 8-18 year old youngsters can work with staff and family members to resolve their difficulties and return home or move on to live independently.

At all JCCA residential programs multi-disciplinary teams work together to develop comprehensive, individualized plans for each child in their care. Individual and group counseling, educational services and cottage living that teaches life skills all prepare our young people to return home to their communities or live independently. From the beginning parents and other important family members are involved in the process working as partners with program staff. Our young people are empowered to take responsibility for their own lives and futures
