Mission Statement
Information and Awareness
The obstacles to wellness differ with different disease states. Therefore, each disease-specific program has different emphasis and activities. However, CAP Programs share common goals because the foundation of all activities, programs, projects, and initiatives are guided by the two focus strategies of providing advocacy and state-of-the-art information.
The goals of the Caring Ambassadors Programs are to improve the quality of life of people living with hepatitis C and lung cancer through advocacy, information, and support by:
- Providing state-of-the-art information about hepatitis C and lung cancer treatment options for patients and their loved ones
- Increasing hepatitis C and lung cancer awareness and advocate for increased prominence on local, state, and national public health agendas
- Motivating people and groups concerned about hepatitis C and lung cancer to work together for the good of all persons affected by the disease
Description
Advocacy CAP programs enthusiastically advocate for the health of our constituents. The specific needs of our programs dictate different strategies, but our bottom line is we do whatever it takes to protect and promote the wellness of our constituents
