Mission Statement
The Su Casa Hispanic Center, a program of Catholic Charities of Southwestern Ohio, serves the Hispanic/Latino individuals who are seeking a better life for themselves and their families. As a part of Catholic Charities of Southwestern Ohio, we share in the mission to "Enlighten, Serve, and Empower" the Hispanic Community of Cincinnati through our diverse range of services which include emergency assistance, legal services, education programs, and health promotion. Description
Su Casa offers a wide range of services to the local Hispanic community, including a variety of emergency assistance services. Additionally, Su Casa offers education programs, health promotion services, and legal consultation.
Our education program includes Citizenship, ESL, GED, and computer classes. Su Casa also offers a summer program called, Vacaciones Utiles, for students between preschool and second grade. After school tutoring is offered in the fall.
Our health promotion services include our health fairs, monthly health workshops, and fitness classes (including zumba and yoga).
Our legal consultants offer notary services, as well as volunteer legal consultations. Our legal services also include assistance with DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) applications. And with some cases involving Unaccompanied Minors.
