Mission Statement

Purpose of the Ensemble Studio Theatre: to replenish the American theatre by developing new work and training new generations of artists. EST provides an artistic home to member artists enabling them to create a body of work over a life time.

Description

Programs maintain a forum for theatre artists to meet regularly and critic each other's work. The Mainstage NYC Season showcases fully-produced works annually, offering diverse productions for a diverse and multi-generational New York audience. EST also owns and operates the multi-arts retreat facility, Lexington Center for the Arts, in the Catskills.
