Mission Statement

The Brandywine Folk Collective aims to build and strengthen our local communities through musical and artistic aspirations. Our aim is to partner with various non-profits and charities to help shed light and awareness of their causes and services.

Description

This summer marks the 2nd annual Brandywine Folk Festival presented by The Brandywine Folk Collective, Historic Kennett Square Society, and WXPN. With head lining acts such as Good Old War, Mischief Brew, and Pearl and The Beard this festival will be the largest and only festival of it's kind in the greater Chester County area. Seated in Kennett Square at Anson B. Nixon park, the Brandywine Folk Festival will be held over three days in the month of August (August 23rd, 24th, 25th). We are now recruiting volunteers to help us put on this event! Volunteer's get free admission for the day they volunteer and are encouraged to volunteer all three days (a normally 60 dollar value free!). If you're someone whose out-going, personable, and loves the music and art scene, than this festival is right up your ally. Scheduled between other major festivals, this event should not pose any conflicts preventing you from seeing your other favorite artists. Please see our website to submit a volunteer application now! (www.brandywinefolkfestival.com) Submit early to get your desired volunteer shift(s) and responsibilities.
