National Volunteer Week 2021 Is Here!
Celebrate with us as we highlight #ArtAsActivism!
To empower and enrich the lives of girls grades 8-12, by making a positive impression through group mentoring and offering exposure to practical areas that include educational assistance, etiquette and manners, sisterhood, cultural growth and recreation. While promoting abstinence from sex & the prevention of drug use, smoking & violence. All while building character & self- esteem.
Participants are apart of age appropriate round table discussions on general teen topics. Participants also receive help with applying to colleges & universities and trade schools and assistance with applying for Financial Aid and Scholarships. They are exposed to the culture of the Atlanta area and surrounding states. Educational and recreational trips are taken monthly to places such as museums, musicals, local professional sports games, etc. We will also expose the girls to different career paths by allowing them to spend time in the lives of lawyers, doctors, accountants, teachers, bankers and entrepreneurs. Graduating seniors have the opportunity to participate in a Debutante Scholarship Cotillion where they are introduced to distinguished members of society. The amount of the scholarship varies depending on what is available on a yearly basis.
