Mission Statement

At The Rose, we believe no woman should die of breast cancer because she cannot afford screening, diagnosis or treatment. Our mission is to reduce deaths from breast cancer by providing screening, diagnostics and access to treatment for all women regardless of their ability to pay.

Description

Insured clients help us with the cost of services for uninsured, working women. To accomplish our mission, we offer a service delivery system consisting of six core programs: Medical Services (screening/diagnostics/navigation to treatment), Empower Her Sponsorship, Mobile Mammography, Young Women's Services, Navigation Services and Support Groups. The Rose is passionate about increasing awareness of breast cancer. We offer outreach and education in a variety of formats including health fairs, presentations, Mobile Mammography screening events, media coverage and special events for the public.
