Mission Statement

The Montgomery County Parks Department oversees the acquisition, development and management of a nationally recognized, award winning park system providing County residents with open space for recreational opportunities and natural resources stewardship.

Description

We strive to build and maintain quality natural surface trails for active and passive recreation, commuting and exploring. For this we rely in part on volunteers, whose efforts we furthermore hope will engender a sense of community pride and stewardship for our shared resources.
