Do you enjoy greeting people and helping them with directions and information? Our Receptionist/Greeter position at the Kent Medical Arts Building assists patients and visitors with finding their appointment location and provide wheelchair assistance. Volunteers are located in a cheery, window-filled atrium with their own desk station. Shifts: 8:00 am - Noon OR Noon - 4:00 pm (M-F); Volunteers traditionally serve a 4 hour shift one day a week.

Welcome patients and family to Surgical Waiting Room Maintain a friendly and supportive atmosphere Provide information and assistance to family members while they are waiting Keep track of patients and family members Communicate requests from surgery area to family members regarding status of patient, including escorting family back to recovery area, meeting with physician or discharge arrangements. Shift schedules: 7am - noon OR noon - 4pm (M-F); Volunteers typically serve one day a week for 4-5 hours
