Mission Statement

The goal of the Sacramento Regional Tennis Foundation is to introduce children in the Sacramento Region to tennis. We want to give every child in the region at least one opportunity to try playing tennis and to create tennis pathways that encourage children to pursue the game at all levels of play.

Tennis is one of the only non-contact, competitive sports available to athletes. It is safe and fun! Learning to play the game teaches a unique combination of strategy, technique, sportsmanship, skill and athleticism. Because it is a discipline that provides physical, mental and emotional benefits, scientists and physicians around the world regard it as the healthiest of all activities. Once learned, it can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
