SonLight Power improves the lives of underserved children, families, and communities worldwide through sustainable solar-powered solutions. Our mission is to make an immediate and lasting impact in regions with no supply of affordable electricity - which obstructs education for children, hinders the quality of medical care, and makes everyday life even more challenging for people in these areas.
By applying love and solar power in sustainable ways, SonLight Power empowers those we serve with love, faith and a renewed sense of hope.

Description
SonLight Power aims to tackle one of the world's biggest challenges - one community at a time.
The United Nations Development Programme estimates that 1.5 billion people do not have access to affordable electric power, or about one of every four people on the planet. This statistic is even more alarming in developing countries, where almost 80 percent of people have no access to electricity.
SonLight Power engages with communities in the U.S., Latin America, and around the world that don't have access to electricity. In these areas, electricity from solar power is transformative - empowering children, families and entire communities with refrigerated vaccines in clinics, light and multimedia educational tools in schools and clean water from solar-powered pumping stations.
See the Light...and Be the Light. Each of us has the opportunity to tangibly See the Light we share with others in impacted areas. We also have the opportunity to Be the Light in someone else's life.
