Action Hope Support Organization

Action Hope Support Organization (AHOSO) is a registered Community Based Organization which was established in 2005 in response to health related problems which includes HIV/AIDS, water, sanitation and Hygiene and Food security in the area. The organization is situated at Kalino Village in the area of Sub T/A Ntholowa in Zomba rural district of Malawi. AHOSO accomplishes its goals and objectives by working tirelessly with the community members and recognized structures, government and other parties in providing and supporting services so as to enable and empower people of our service area to respond to all development challenges including Water, sanitation & hygiene, Good governance and Human rights, HIV and AIDS and food security. Our targets are the marginalized community members which include the elderly, children, the orphans and other vulnerable children, HIV AIDS infected and affected society, the disabled and women.

We would like volunteers assist the organization to address and find solutions to the below objectives of the organization:

• · To provide social and economic support services to underprivileged children, adolescents and women at community level

• · To educate, provide care and support to community members, youth, infected and affected with HIV/AIDS and mitigate its impact

• · To safeguard, promote and protect human rights with much emphasis on children, women and youth rights.

• · To advocate, provide safe drinking water, hygiene education and sanitation services to the community
