Mission Statement

The purpose of this organization shall be to promote public support for development of services and facilities of the Greenwood Public Library, for the education, enjoyment, and literary enlightenment of the Greenwood community; and to generate and receive funds to be used solely for the benefit of the Library, and to engage in advocacy on behalf of the Library.

Description

Friends of the Greenwood Public Library (FOTGPL) is an association of community members who value our library and demonstrate support through membership and volunteer participation. Their goals are to raise funds for specific library programs and collections and limited special projects, build membership, advocate for the library, and promote and assist with library programs.
