Summer in the City strives to improve and expand community service in metropolitan Detroit by providing volunteer opportunities that are fun, flexible and fulfilling.

Description

Summer in the City offers volunteer opportunities every Tuesday through Friday from June 17 to August 15. Volunteers can come as little or as often as they want without signing up in advance to one of seven carpool sites throughout metropolitan Detroit. Carpools meet daily at 9 am and return by 2 pm. Each day is a chance to make a difference in the community through a variety of great projects.
