Mission Statement

The Chisago City Farmers Market (CCFM) offers the Chisago City community a variety of fresh products from local growers, producers and artisans including those who use sustainable practices. In addition, the market strives to be a resource for other local businesses, a venue for cultural activity and a source of education and opportunity for its youth and customers.

Description

We think great things can revolve around a community farmers market. As we gather around fresh, local, food we can share a vision of a healthier, engaged, and sustainably-thriving community.

The Chisago City Farmers Market began in the winter of 2011 by local resident Cecilia Coulter with support through the Parks and Recreation department of Chisago City. Today our board of directors includes citizens, vendors, youth, local business owners, and city officials.

The market is located in beautiful Moberg Park, Chisago City, MN, right across from City Hall. There is plenty of parking at the park and on the street. The park boasts a gazebo, historical statues, and plenty of shade to enjoy a hot summer’s day in comfort.
