Mission Statement

The mission of Cobb County Senior & Homeless Service, Inc. is to provide ongoing support to senior citizens and the homeless in Cobb County and the surrounding area.

Goal: is to foster healthy living and lifestyles, improved quality of life, assist with the spiritual wellfare of the homeless and elderly while bringing forth an understanding of the needs of senior citizens and the homeless.

Description

Our Purpose is to ensure seniors reach and maintain their maximum level of functioning and awareness so that they may have a good quality of life. We fulfill our mission, goals, and purpose through home visitations, providing homemaker assistance, providing transportation, running errands, assisting with activities of daily living, meal preparations, companionship and friendly visitior programs. We provide therapeutic massages, comprehensive case management, and aging in place assistance which includes retrofiting housing for the disabled (i.e.: installing grab bars, wheelchair ramps, etc.). We have homeless prevention services and provide limited emergency assistance for homeless senior citizens. All of our services are available to residents of Cobb County ages 60 and over.

It so pleasant that I for got I was not a senior. Everyone was very nice.
