Description
The Atlanta Victim Assistance program (AVA) www.atlantava.org is a nonprofit organization established in 1984. Since its inception, AVA has been making significant contributions to the health, economic, social and cultural well-being of Atlanta, Georgia. Our mission is to provide support, prevent violence and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and the metropolitan Atlanta community. AVA absorbs the trauma of our city by providing comprehensive services that help victims of violent crimes, specifically victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, survivors of sexual assault and secondary survivors of human-trafficking living within the City of Atlanta overcome crisis and become survivors as they restore their lives.
