ITNGreaterTucson provides transportation to seniors and people visual impairments 24 hours a day 7 days a week to any destination. Volunteer drivers are the heart of our organizaiton, providing door-thru-door, arm-thru-arm servies (if required), allowing seniors to maintain their dignity once they are no longer able to drive. They will not need to ask for favors from family and friends and can feel the sense of independence they had when they were still able to drive.

Part-time paid drivers supplement volunteer activities for times (typically nighs and weekends) when volunteers are not available.

Customers become members of ITNGreaterTucson and establish Personal Transportation Accounts to pay for ride services. Unique programs such as CarTrade, Healthy Miles, Ride and Shop and Road Scholarships help to support the cost of rides in some cases.

Helping to keep seniors and people with visual impairments actively involved in the community makes the Greater Tucson region a better place for all of us to live. IT also helps to keep our community safe by taking some drivers off the road who shouldn't be driving and offering them an attractvie alternative.
