Work with local governments, the Region's leadership and state and federal agencies to foster desirable social, economic, cultural and ecological conditions in Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, and Transylvania Counties.

Description

The Land-of-Sky Regional Council serves a four county region - Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, and Transylvania Counties - in areas such as economic development, land use planning, brownfields, waste reduction, clean air/clean water, transportation issues, senior centers, family caregiver support/respite services, housing rehabilitation, volunteer opportunities, Ombudsman services, and many more. We work with the local governments on many of these issues.
