Mission Statement

We rescue thoroughbred ex-racehorses from feedlots and kill pens, and after quarantine and evaluation, place them in homes as pleasure and sport horses.

Description

Since our inception in 2002, we have placed over 800 thoroughbreds in loving homes. Safety and suitability are of the utmost importance in matching horse and rider. We were one of the 6 rescues in the US to be selected by the ASPCA to participate in the $1M Rescuing Racers Initiative. In addition, we are verified by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (accreditation pending) and also have accreditation pending from the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance. We receive annual support from Thoroughbred Charities of America and Blue Horse Charities.
