Mission Statement

Valley House works with a wide range of community services to provide motivated homeless persons the help they need to become self-sufficient, productive citizens, while advocating for policies that reduce homelessness.

Description

Valley House is a private, non-profit homeless shelter whose mission is to help people regain self-sufficiency. This is the 11th year of operation in Magic Valley. We have assisted hundreds of homeless people in gaining employment and permanent housing. We depend entirely upon friends and businesses like you to help provide resources needed to stay open.

This organization is truly making a difference in the magic valley. I know of a single mother coming out of an abusive relationship who benefited from their services and today she is doing extremely well. I met her through church and she was really struggling. Now, she has relocated to another state for employment and has made a good life for herself and children. God bless you Valley House for the good work that you do.
