Mission Statement

The mission of the Domestic Violence Unit of the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office is to reduce family violence by providing direct assistance to the victims of crime and enhancing awareness of victim's rights.

Description

This program assists victims of crime throughout the criminal justice process. This is done by providing support from staff and volunteers, making necessary referrals to social service, community, education and employment agencies, and promoting increased safety for victims and their families.
