Description
Through teacher or parent referral, and with the help of volunteer tutors, Children's Literacy Center provides FREE one-to-one tutoring for children, first through sixth grade, whose reading skills are below grade level.

Children's Literacy Center is pretty outstanding when it comes to making a difference. After I took the course, which wasn't difficult, I entered the program and got to watch a student develop a skill that she will use her whole life. My experience has been life changing and I really encourage anyone to sign up who wants to teach or make a difference in a child's life.

I will be volunteering for this organization for the summer, and I would highly recommend this program to anyone else. It was very easy to sign up, the program replied almost immediately, and was willing to answer any questions I had.
