Mission Statement

Susrut Eye Foundation & Research Centre, INDIA. is an advanced eye care facilator in Eastern India. It is in a mission to prevent avoidable blindness and conducts more than 300 community outreach camps round the year with help of the supporting partners like HelpAge India, Rotary Clubs, SightSavers International and many others. In 2005 we conduct more than 3000 free cataract surgery and treated more than 30,000 patients with ailments like refractive errors, retinal problem and various other.

We are trying but there are many obstacles.

Lack of funds, shortage of people, ignorance.

But there are also YOU. We are encourged by YOU. and any kind of help from you , welcomed by US.

Description

Our organisation is a society run organisation and providing services in eye care. In India many people can not avail health services. Poor communication, scarcity of funds and ignorance are main factors. Our founder members like Dr. Sunil Chandra Bagchi, MBBS, DOMS,FRCS have a vision that no person ever get blind for he do not have money to pay. Over last 8 years in free IOL Cataract camps more than half a million people treated and FREE IOL CATARACT SURGERIES performed nearly 30,000. We appriciate help from any corners. Our strength is people like you. We get motivated and can think of a better place to live.
