Mission Statement

Our mission is to combine athleticism, integrity and sportsmanship; through passionate pursuit we are dedicated to promoting a unified derby community with a desire for positive growth and progression moving toward the goal of team unity and ending with an all-encompassing love for roller derby. To bring roller derby to the young and old and create excitement for the new/old sport. To listen to our fans and create a family-friendly environment where all are welcome and respected.

Description

The Des Moines Derby Dames is a Women's Flat Track Roller Derby team from Des Moines, Iowa. We are a WFTDA league playing fun, exciting, and competitive roller derby.

The Des Moines Derby Dames are also a non-profit organization with full 501 (c)(3) status. We are dedicated to giving back to the community that helps us do what we love through charitable donations and/or volunteer opportunities of our own.

Home bouts are played at 7 Flags Event Center, unless otherwise stated.
