Mission Statement
The Interfaith Food Center is a compassionate, caring organization committed to serving the food needs of as many of the hungry, disadvantaged, and homeless population of the communities of Whittier, La Mirada and Santa Fe Springs as our resources allow. We believe that the perpetuation of our cost effective Center is totally dependent on the support services of volunteers, individuals and organizations who are also committed to feeding the needy. Our only reason for existing is to fill that need and make a difference in the lives of the people of the community who depend on us.
Description
Interfaith Food Center provides supplementary food assistance to low income residents of Whittier, La Mirada and Santa Fe Springs. Currently we help 1,500 families on a weekly basis and 50- 60 homeless individuals on a daily basis.
I.F.C, is committed to serving the food needs of the hungry, disadvantaged and homeless population in our community.
Today Interfaith Food Center is the second largest food pantry in the State of California.
