Mission Statement

The Northtown Housing Development Corporation (NHDC) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization incorporated in March 1993 (see attachment), for the purpose of supporting neighborhood revitalization and affordable housing activities in the Northtown Neighborhood of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California. The creation of NHDC in 1993 was premised on a vision to revitalize the Northtown Neighborhood located in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Twenty years later, NHDC represents a success story of neighborhood activism, community revitalization and a commitment toward creating safe, clean affordable quality housing and homeownership pride for extremely very low to moderate income families. NHDC is dedicated to expanding its efforts to communities throughout Southern California, especially the economically distressed areas of the Inland Empire.

Description

As part of its mission, NHDC is committed to promoting and improving the future economic development of the neighborhoods it serves. These neighborhoods primarily serve very low to moderate income households, consisting of the workforce households of San Bernardino County. Funds will be used for on-going operating costs of the after-school program.
