To preserve, conserve, and restore the native plants and native plant communities of Florida.

Description

The Florida Native Plant Society is the only organization dedicated to understanding and protecting Florida's indigenous flora. Our members include botanists, ecologists, land managers, landscape professionals, naturalists, and environmentally concerned gardeners. We have 34 chapters around the state which offer free educational programs, field trips, and native plant sales. FNPS hosts a state conference each year, publishes a quarterly magazine, and maintains an eco-action alert system.
