Would you recommend San Antonio Junior Forum?
I found SAJF to offer the versatility in volunteer projects that I was looking for. I am able to have different experiences like helping at a food bank, face painting at the Fiesta Art Fair, cooking a dinner for Ronald McDonald House or playing bunco at an assisted living retirement home. If you like variety, SAJF is never boring and the women are committed to our community and to each other. This is an organization with heart.
We all have a common goal of service. We serve the community, charities, and students as well as each other when needed. It is a wonderful group of independent women who come together for a common cause. I have made many new friends and have learned more about the San Antonio community.
Serving in the community with the women of San Antonio Junior Forum has been an uplifting experience for me. Not only is it gratifying to help others, but has given me the opportunity to meet so many outstanding women that are so giving!
What a wonderful group of women I have met through SAJF that share the same desire to serve the community.
As someone who enjoys giving back to the community, I was excited to become part of SAJF in 2009. Playing bingo with the young adults at the ARC of SA, cooking meals at Ronald McDonald House, and dancing with the clients of the Down Syndrome Association at their Spring Formal have all been so much fun and extremely rewarding. Our scholarship recipients are wonderful. I'm proud to be part of their future by helping them with one of our scholarships. With so many ways to make a difference, SAJF is an organization to fit everyone's passion for service. I am blessed to have my "Sisters in Forum". This group of ladies has become my biggest supporters personally, professionally, and in giving back to our community. It's no wonder SAJF is 50 years strong!
