Washington PAVE, a non-profit parent-directed organization, exists to share information and resources with people whose lives are linked to children and adults with disabilities.

Description

Help you understand the educational system for children of all ages. Assist you to find services in your community for your family and your child or adult with disability. Provide support when you learn that your child has a disability or chronic health care need. Help as your child transitions from school to adult life.

Provides workshops on a variety of subjects such as: special education, transition, military issues, early intervention, communication skills, and many others.

Lending library, links to other parents through meetings or the internet.
