Have you served in the military (or currently serving) and looking for ways to make a difference in the lives of others that have served? Adoration Hospice is honored to serve those that have served us. We are participants in the We Honor Veterans Program, currently at a Level 4. Recognizing the unique needs of our nation's Veterans who are facing a life-limiting illness, Adoration Hospice is able to accompany and guide Veterans and their families toward a more peaceful ending. Many of our Veterans have never talked about their experiences with their friends and families and may want or need to. They all need to be honored and know that their service is remembered. As a Veteran Volunteer you can help honor them. For more details, please call (615) 733-3600. Administrative and Direct Patient Care Volunteer Opportunities Available! Make a difference in someone's life and in our community. Be an Adoration Hospice Volunteer. Our Volunteers come from all walks of life. They are homemakers, students, retirees and professionals. They come to serve individually or as service groups. They represent a variety of faiths and cultures. However, they all have one thing in common - compassion, heart and the desire to support and care for those facing life-limiting illnesses. Whether it's assistance with writing a journal, reading a book, playing an instrument, sitting with a patient while the caregiver to take a break, running an errand, light housekeeping, making phone calls, making gifts, etc......we can use your talent. All Volunteers receive training. For more details, please call Adoration Hospice at (615) 733-3600 and ask for the Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteer opportunities available in the following counties: Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson. Administrative Volunteers may assist with presentations and training, community events, phone calls to patients, bereavement support, crafting, prepare and deliver welcome baskets to new patients, or helping out in our Madison, Kingston Springs, or Murfreesboro office.

Pet Therapy Volunteer - Davidson and surrounding counties

Pet Therapy Volunteers serves as additional support to our patients and their families/caregivers by making friendly visits with a certified therapy animal. We are looking for compassionate, caring pet therapy volunteers in the following area: Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties.
