Mission Statement

Sunny Glen exist to provide neglected and abused children a safe, loving home environment that emphasize Christian values and the American work ethic. This is accomplished with a qualified spiritual and emotional growth. The home provides long-term residential care, a variety of counseling services and supervised development programs while pursuing the goal of family reunification.

Description

Sunny Glen was a dream that unfold, from a house near La Feria TX. Where a half a dozen children where cared for beginning in 1936. Sunny Glen is now on 35 acres location near San Benito, where up to 40+ children call it home. The Home serve as a temporary home for children, helping to heal their traumas and giving them HOPE, FAITH AND LOVE.

We all live, learn and grow. Sunny Glen is pursuing certification as a program in the Sanctuary model of helping children and their families learn the skills to traverse the traumas of their past, present and future.

Sunny Glen has enabled over 7,000 children since 1936 to overcome difficult circumstances and grow into successful adults. The cornerstone of Sunny Glen has and will always be the spirital development of the child.

Each year Sunny Glen recevies essential support from people that are willing to help mend the lives of children and their families. We are needing support from volunteers, to help guide with the lifes of our children.
