Mission Statement
Our mission is to actively promote and advocate literacy and to offer literacy services directly to adults whose personal goals may be achieved by increasing their literacy skills.
Description
We regard the ability to read, write and speak English as critical to personal freedom. Literacy is the key to self worth, personal fulfillment and healthy communities.
We train volunteers to work with adult learners in small groups to speak English. You do not need to speak another language or have a teaching background.
Let us introduce you to a volunteer opportunity that will make a difference in someone's life, as well as your own.
Contact Marigrace Dubas, Volunteer Coordinator, at norwalklv.mg@gmail.com or 203-853-7437 to learn more.
