Mission Statement

The Las Vegas Philharmonic provides live symphonic music at the highest artistic standards of performance for the residents of Southern Nevada and encourages the development and appreciation of fine music among both young people and adults through educational programming and community service initiatives. We celebrate the timelessness and beauty of music through our Masterworks, Pops, and Youth Concerts series, keeping the magic of these classics alive for future generations.

Description

The Las Vegas Philharmonic embraces the need for culture in a successful and growing community. To make a community a vital place to live and work and connect with other citizens, there are certain essential needs: security, personal identity, sustainable living, and a sense of connection. As a cultural ambassador a symphony orchestra can and should support its community, and give it a sense of purpose and relevance in the world.

Through the programs that it presents, and its activities in the community, the Las Vegas Philharmonic seeks to Innovate, Educate, Collaborate and Communicate.

Its Artistic Vision is to be a vital member of the Las Vegas Community, and a resource and destination for residents of Las Vegas to more strongly enforce the sense of Las Vegas as a vibrant and satisfying place to live.
