Mission Statement

Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania & Southern West Virginia grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Description

Volunteers are an integral part of fulfilling wishes. As a member of a wish team, you will meet with the family, determine the wish and act as a liaison between the Make-A-Wish staff and the wish family during the wish process.

Wish granting volunteers are currently needed in the following counties: CLAY, NICHOLAS, BOONE, GREENBRIER, LOGAN, WYOMING, MINGO, LINCOLN, MCDOWELL, FAYETTE, CALHOUN, MONROE, WIRT, ROANE, JACKSON, MASON, PUTNAM, CABLL, WAYNE, RALEIGH, KANAWHA, MERCER, and SUMMERS.
