Mission Statement

Legacy Hospice, using a team approach, will provide holistic comfort care to terminally ill patients and their families having an individualized Plan of Care for each patient developed by the hospice staff.

Description

Hospice volunteers are a crucial part of the hospice concept. They may assist in providing non-patient related services to the hospice program, or they may participate in patient/family care. The volunteers may work in the capacity of being indirect, direct, and/or bereavement volunteers. Volunteers develop strong connections with the families they serve, and feel great rewards.
