Mission Statement
Cubs for Coping gives handmade teddy bears to young people in hospitals, homeless shelters, and eating disorder programs. Handmade items require
more creativity, effort, and personalization. Each teddy bear we donate is unique, just like the people we give them to. Personalized items help people remember that others care about them. We remind young people facing tough times that they are not alone. We host volunteer events in New York
where people can learn how to make teddy bears for us to donate. Our Cubs for Coping kit program enables people who live outside of New York to
volunteer with us - we ship the materials and volunteers create bears to ship back to us.
