Mission Statement

Now in its 29th year, the mission of the Titusville Council on the Arts (TCA) is to stimulate, encourage, expand, and support the practice, appreciation, and understanding of the performing and visual arts among all residents.

Description

TCA is an essential organization whose goal is to make the arts affordable and available for the entire community through diverse programming that represents all components of the arts.

Highlights include:

Titusville Area Youth Theater - students, ages 8-15, can participate in TCA’s annual musical.

Day of Poetry - students under 18 express their creative writing skills.

Fine Art Exhibition - showcases local artists, making their art accessible to surrounding areas.

Summer Concerts in the Park -offers music appropriate for all ages.

Pittsburgh Symphony Brass - an annual holiday concert.

HOTAfest (The Heart of the Arts Folk Music Festival) - 3 day event for musicians and visual artists.

TCA is overseen by Ashley Eichhorn-Thompson, Executive Director, and has a hands-on, 10 member Board of Directors. Committees, comprised of board members, oversee programming implementation. TCA has strong support from the business community and a large pool of local volunteers.
