Mission Statement
The mission of The Center for Autism Education (CAE) is to assure that every child, family and adult that we serve, is provided the highest quality training in functional skills and behavior intervention in a respectful, positive and safe learning environment so that all reach their fullest potential, becoming successful, happy and contributing members of the community.
Description
The Center for Autism Education has 3 main programs.
The Instructional Day Facility
This program provides education to students ages 6-21 and is approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for students with autism and other developmental disabilities that have severe and challenging behaviors. We are a year round program and currently serve students from school districts in St. Charles and surrounding counties.
Behavior Consultation and Intervention Clinic
The Clinic offers ABA Therapy, Speech Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Behavior Therapy and Parent Training. Services are provided across multiple settings including home, community, school, and residential placement.
The Darryl Strawberry Adult Day Service Facility
This facility serves individuals living with disabilities from ages 21 and older, focusing on training in the following skills: daily living, social, communication, functional academics in reading and math, leisure and coping skills.
