Mission Statement
Building a foundation for healthy families through education, individual support and community connections.
Description
Founded in 2013, we received our 501c3 status July 11, 2014. Understanding our youth are often a silent voice that is not heard, we founded a youth advisory board. Bringing youth 11-16 years of age together we listened to what they were saying were issues that impact their lives. At the forefront was bully, then came self-harm, poor school performance and families on the verge of being homeless. Our programs are free tutoring for those children who are left out and let behind, grandparents raising grandchildren in becoming the parent again, bullying in our schools and social media, outreach assistance for those who have had something happen to impact their ability to provide for their family. We want to create a community of hope where our community comes together to provide safety nets for those who find themselves in need of help. Children will be safer, families will be stronger, and struggling communities will be safe places for children to live.
