Mission Statement

SEED OF LOVE (SOL) wants to encourage and promote confidence and independence in people with learning abilities by teaching them farming and animal care on a care farm. SOL's long-term mission is to develop strong collaboration with local agencies and other community-based organization that already work with people with disabilities and to create new opportunities for this underserved population.

Description

SOL's plan is to set up a non-profit care farm in the Bay Area, composed of a green and sustainable farm and orchard, a farm animal rescue and rehabilitiation center, to teach farming and animal care to adults with learning disabilities and be an accredited place of intership for college students.
