Description

MATHCOUNTS(r) is a national math enrichment, coaching and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement through grassroots involvement in every U.S. state and territory. With over 22 years experience, MATHCOUNTS is one of the most successful education partnerships involving volunteers, educators, industry sponsors, and students.

It is a wonderful organization promoting Math among middle school children. Mathcounts! encourages children to learn and to become proficient in Math, by making them Math-athletes and giving them a environment where being smart is 'cool'. Volunteers get to see the brightest kids, easily solving problems that engineers scratch their heads trying to figure out!
