The Twin Cities Robert Emmets Hurling Club is organized to promote and develop the amateur sport of hurling in the Twin Cities and Minnesota; provide education and training to both children and adults regarding hurling skills and the history of the game; educate the public about Irish culture; promote culture awareness in Minnesota; and foster a sense of community among members.

Description

The Twin Cities Robert Emmets Hurling Club is a 501 (c) (3) public charity. We now have year round weekly hurling practices. We have summer and fall city leagues. We travel and compete against other hurling clubs all over the country. Our teams are sponsored by local businesses. We participate in St. Paddy's Day parades, Irish Fair, Grand Ol' Days parade, etc. We teach children about Irish culture through our Young Emmets program. The club is run exclusively by volunteers.
