LA Shorts Fest is the largest short film festival in the world, Accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences. In past years, 33 participants have earned Academy Award nominations, with 11 filmmakers actually taking home the Oscar. Last years festival drew 7,000 moviegoers and filmmakers.
